The Canal Market District farmers market operates every Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, May through October, and every Tuesday from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, June through September. We're open rain or shine because of our open-air covered pavilion.

Yes! We are included in the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) in Downtown Newark. A DORA allows persons aged 21 and older to purchase alcohol from approved businesses and walk around the DORA District. This means you can bring your alcoholic beverages to our market by picking up a wristband at one of the approved establishments.
