We welcome kids of all ages. We will have kids' activities as well as special kids' tickets available for little appetites with big opinions.

Your one-night unique stay glamping in the private forest clearing includes a fresh, gourmet breakfast for two, made with ingredients from our farm and local partners. Camping without the hassle - regular queen bed with down comforter and heated mattress-pad, private half bath in the main manor, secluded outdoor solar shower - access to all the amenities offered to house guests. Add on a massage, tent-side refreshments and a bonfire at the end of the day to fully relax.

Two flower farmers team up to offer a unique local flower experience. Tour Cat Run Ranch flower farm in Newark and learn all about the business of blooms. Then join flower farmer Susan King of Buckeye Blooms for a floral design tutorial for up to four people. You'll take your very own, custom designed bouquet home with you.
Multi-Course Garden Dinner four four and a bakery basket from dana lee
You'll take home a scratch-made basket full of Dana Lee's famous treats, then join Dana at her home and gardens for a five to seven course meal for you and up to three guests. Trust us, you don't want to miss her cooking! Be sure to bring your appetite: small portions are not part of Dana's vocabulary. Dana's gardens are also not to be missed, and were included on the Licking County Home and Garden Tour in 2016.

Join local dignitary and Newark Mayor Jeff Hall for lunch in town. When we asked him where he'd be taking his guest, he said he didn't know yet but it would definitely be "someplace nice." Intriguing!

Learn the basics of making your own artisan bar soap at home using the “cold process” method. This 45 minute soap making demonstration will illustrate the chemical processes involved in soap making. Discover some helpful tricks, tips, and techniques to creating a great recipe for the perfect batch of bar soap. Find out why that commercial bar of “soap” in in your shower really may not be soap at all. At the end of the session you will take home a trio of artisan bars along with a soap rack and a certificate good for 50% off your future purchase. You'll also go home with several complementary “homegrown” items from the Valley.

Here’s your chance to get a full behind the scenes view of Licking County’s largest microbrewery. Join Homestead on a brew day for a full tour of the brewing process while they craft one of the exceptional beers that make up their stock in trade. You and three friends will have a chance to help mash in, boil and hop a brew while you chat with Homestead's Master Brewer about how they make the beers that go out to bars and restaurants all across Licking County and the rest of Central Ohio. Sample Homestead's beers and learn more about how we build the recipes, combine ingredients and package our products. Each person will take home a T Shirt and a brewery experience like no other!

Pick up a bag of fresh vegetables from July 12 - September 20 at the Canal Farmers Market on Fridays from 5:00 - 6:30PM. Are you new to the CSA concept or eating locally? This is the perfect season to get your toe wet! The peak of the season you will see a lot of tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet corn and even watermelon. This size is perfect for a family of three!
